Created in 2000, DKC’s industry-leading specialty practice focused on public and life safety has worked with a diverse array of clients – large corporations, trade associations, unions, and local fire departments and other first responder agencies – helping them communicate critical safety, prevention and best-practices messaging to key constituencies, often under crisis conditions.

DKC’s public and life safety team comprises nationally renowned experts on fire safety, pre-hospital care/ EMS, homeland security and labor issues relating to emergency services.
