New Era Cap Company Re-Signs with Dan Klores Communications as Public Relations Agency of Record

NEW YORK, February 11, 2008 – New Era Cap Company, the nation's leading headwear designer and manufacturer, has selected Dan Klores Communications (DKC) as its Agency of Record for 2008 focusing on public relations. DKC will work with New Era on a number of major initiatives including expansion of its product line and celebration of the 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in historic Yankee Stadium.

DKC teamed with New Era in 2006 to build awareness for the opening of its first flagship store in New York City, a campaign that resulted in widespread media coverage, both locally and nationally, citing DKC's "out-of-the-box" thinking as a primary reason for making its selection.

"We are thrilled at the opportunity to once again align ourselves with DKC, said New Era's Vice President of Brand Communications, John DeWaal. "Their familiarity with the media will certainly help us achieve our PR goals in 2008 and beyond."

"DKC is proud to continue its strategic partnership with such a renowned company and we are dedicated to further enhancing the New Era brand within the mainstream media as well as other marketing endeavors," added Philip Crimaldi, Vice President, DKC.
